Privacy Policy

The short version

Automotive Lease and Finance Offers is an information site. We publish manufacturer lease and finance offers. We do not sell cars, arrange financing, or pass your details to dealers, because we do not collect your details in the first place — there is no account to create, no form to fill in, and no lead to sell.

What we do have is standard web analytics and, once approved, Google AdSense advertising. Both involve cookies. This page explains exactly what that means.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Only what you choose to put in an email to us. We do not operate contact forms, newsletters, or user accounts.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider and analytics record technical details of each visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and timestamps. We use this in aggregate to understand which vehicles people are researching and to keep the site working.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for two purposes: measuring traffic, and serving advertising.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Third-party advertising vendors may place cookies we do not control. We have no access to those cookies and cannot read them.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site, to understand which content is useful, to detect abuse, and to serve advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them; nothing here requires a cookie to function.
• Opt out of personalized advertising using the links above.
• Send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal — we honour GPC as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We do not sell personal information for money. Serving personalized advertising may constitute “sharing” under the CPRA; you can opt out with the advertising links above or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

European and UK visitors (GDPR)

Our lawful basis for analytics and advertising is consent where required, and legitimate interest for basic security and traffic logging. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

Aggregate analytics are retained for up to 26 months. Server logs are retained for a short operational period. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but since we hold no accounts and no payment data, there is very little here to lose.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and change the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
